Nor'East of Scotland Cat Club Show - Saturday 10 May 2008
Jasper and Zoe came with me to this show but neither of them had a very good day.
The boy was as cross as a bear - sorrel cats sometimes have temperaments to match their hair colour - and was generally most unhappy about being there at all. In spite of his bad temper, he was still able to gain a Reserve Grand, Best of Breed and First and Second in his two side classes, a tribute to his good looks rather than his sweet nature on this occasion! Congratulations to Maureen and Lorraine Pontello's rather better behaved sorrel girl GrCh Pontaby Fragola on winning her second Imperial!
Zoe had the misfortune to be penned next to the outstanding young lad, Glendavan Kaiser Soeze, owned by Louise and David Miskelly which did her no good at all. Still, much as I like my cats to win, I can't ever grudge better Abyssinians beating them. Her day will come.
