Abychat Khabasha

Zoe, kindly entrusted to me by Rebecca Eagland of Abychat Abyssinians from Yorkshire and even more kindly named by her for my own recently awarded prefix was born in August 2007. She had a couple of show outings early on but her small size was against her and she did not find favour with the judges at that stage.

Like Aisling, she is a Usual, out of TICA Grand Champion Alexy's Amenhotep and Abychat Amysangel. She is a very sweet little girl with people but well able to stand up for herself with the big neuter family who were seriously alarmed initially by the shrillness of her opposition to their attempts to remind her that they were here first. Happily, everybody has now agreed to be friends, although there is occasional teasing from Mina to keep her on her toes.

Zoe had a single baby in January 2009 and proved to be an excellent mother but because of her extremely dainty frame, I felt that further breeding might not be the best thing for her. She was neutered in December 2009 and is now a companion to my young stud, Duncan. She has been to a couple of shows so far in 2010 and, thanks to having filled out somewhat after her operation, has won two Premier Certificates.
