Abyglen Astrokhan

Alban comes from the same parentage as Aisling and Ailsa but is just over a year younger, having been born in March 2002. You will see from the photograph that, in spite of their common parentage, his type is quite different from that of his older sisters and so is his temperament.

He made a few show appearances in his youth but was so painfully shy and clearly hated the experience so much that he has been retired for several years. He is a lovely gentle boy, very kind with the younger cats. He enjoys watching the birds from the sun-room and sometimes likes some human interaction although he is not as people-centred as the others in general.

Since the coming of his younger cousin Jasper, he has become much more out-going and less shy and I am hoping, if this improvement is maintained, that he may come back to showing next year.
